1. Do GMG place the purchase order for me and why?

Yes, purchase orders to the factory will be made through us so we can guarantee that the factory responds to an entity covered by PRC laws for any problem that arises with the product, corresponding to inspections results before delivery and warranty agreements after delivery.Additionally, our clients will benefit from other orders since as more orders quantities more lower prices for the purchase of product we acquire.Payment terms that are usually required by the factory are, 30% in advance and 70% balance paid when products are finalized before exiting the factory warehouse, hence we will first protect your initial investment made though our assertive factory selection and downstream payments are guaranteed that will be made on time once inspection is approved.

2. How GMG makes the selection of factory?

Selection of the factory is carried out in two areas:
• Technical aspect, verifying that the manufacturer complies with all the necessary international standards, production capacity, quality of supplies and delivery times for the fulfillment of the order.
• Legal aspect, we verify the legal and financial health of the manufacturer, minimizing the risks of legal problems when selecting manufacturers.

3. How GMG charges for the factory selection service?

If your product is not within our current database of suppliers, a specialized search is required which will have a starting fee of 200 USD, which will be refunded once you place the MOQ purchase order.

4. How GMG charges for inspection service?

Our business model allows us to include basic and general inspections fee in the product price made by experienced inspectors. In addition to our standard quality inspection procedure, we can also carry out other additional inspection services with a tailor-made checking plan made according to your special requirements and with international body certifiers like Bureau Veritas, SGS, among others.

5. Test reports and certifications delivered by the factory are enough to guarantee the quality of the product?

No, even though test reports and certifications are important and necessary, they are not enough to control and assure the quality of product. For this in mandatory to make quality inspection which will corroborate the results of test reports, since first they are only made to a few factory samples that does not belong to your lot order, hence AQL (assurance quality level) inspection needs to be performed to make a Final Random Inspection, which is the most common inspection type to confirm the whole shipment’s quality level. It normally requires the production to be completed and at least 80% of goods packed into cartons.Additionally test report are made once every two to ten years, hence many things might change in that period of time like production line process, factory address and management, raw material supplier among many others, which might affect the production line outcomes from the time that the test report and certifications were issued.

6. Does GMG offers NDA terms agreement?

We've got this covered. Our legally binding terms of service cover contractor non-disclosure. If any contractor works on your project, they're bound by the terms of our non-disclosure agreement.

7. Can I hire services of inspection and transportation separately from the procurement service?

Yes, you can hire any GMG service separately, just explain us your requirement in get an estimate and we will send you a quotation for the services that you need. Try to be as specific as you can so we can provide an efficient solution, e.g. you could specify any problem that you are having, competition that you want to pursue, target prices, engineering, design, and/or packaging requirements, patent or  legal services, image, branding and marketing services to introduce your product into the Asia market, among many others services that you find us favorable and suitable for your project.

8. How long does it take shipping by sea?

By sea regularly is 45 days. For countries where there are more shipping carrier services available for market demand can take from up to 40 days, other countries might take from 45 to 65 days.

9. How long does is take the shipping by air?

By air regularly is 10 to 15 days in most parts of the world, but again it will depend of the amount of airlines available for traveling to final destination.

10. How do you calculate the freight cost by air?

whichever is greater:
Air freight fee/kg * Weight of product (kg),
or
Air freight fee/kg * Volume weight in CBM (CubicMeters),

11. How much is the cost of Air freight fee/kg?

It varies overly and usually depends mainly on the demand and the destination, currently it could have a roughly price of 10usd/kg and it could variate around 3 to 4 usd. Contact us to require a personalized quote for your productdelivery services.

12. How to calculate volume weight?

Volume * Conversion factor (L x W x H) x 167. Volume has tobe in CBM (61,024 Cubic Inches = 1 CBM.

13. How to calculate cost of freight insurance?

Cost of goods value * 1.1 * 0.02 (2%).

14. Do I need to fill an entire container?

No, you don’t need to. However, is important to know that prices for partial spaces of the container are more expensive than renting the entire space of one container.

16. Can GMG help with any supply chain step of theprocess?

Yes we can, we provide support in the development of your supply chain, regardless of size, we will optimize your operation through a cost and time reduction equation, paying close attention to communication between the different suppliers and delivery itineraries.

17. What payment terms does GMG accept?

Wire transfer is the most common accepted type of payment for orders in production and in stock.

As for orders in production and in stock payment terms are 30% advance and 70% balance at the end of production. Before making the last payment, the goods would be inspected and if required, will be verified by an international body certifier like SGS, Bureau Veritas or other. For bigger order Letter of credit can be accepted and payment terms can be negotiable.

An inspection report with proof video is sent for client’s approval, after last payment is made. Bill of landing or airwaybill along with commercial invoice with any other necessary document required for nationalization process in country of destiny.
